Mount Haan Loop

Hello, welcome back to the Track Showcase, today, we take ourselves to the Mount Haan Loop. The route is pretty simple in concept, a track that wraps around Mount Haan where the Vinewood Sign is, as well as the Gallileo Observatory around what I think to be called Mount Vinewood. However, sorry for disappointing you, but the route itself doesn’t actually climb right into the Observatory. Either way, as expected, the track is both twisty and flowing, but it also has some very sharp corners and difficult parts to deal with, so be careful about that. Either way, that’s all I can say about this track. The Pitlane is meanwhile in Normandy Drive. The next tracks shall be another notoriously difficult track, Pillbox Rat Rallycross followed by a new massive track, LS Truck Simulator.

The car to be used here is the Fusilade, a reference to my memories on the mission Caida Libre, with the plate “FREEFALL”

“Ever heard of Tunnel Vision? No, I didn’t talk about the one north of the Observatory. Either way, I heard that you want to bask in the scenic route of Vinewood Hills along with viewing Mount Haan as close as possible. Too bad that it also means you won’t see the famous Vinewood Sign because you wouldn’t dare to look up without breaking your neck or blinding yourself. Oh, and say hello to Davey from above and Martin from below. The pitlane is in Normandy Drive”

Starting in Kimberly Drive, the first corner complex is already very hard “The Chopped Throw”, a set of two sharp hairpins separated by a narrow dirt path to Whispymound. Then we have the major difficulty of “Ranger S”, two elbow corners separated by a smooth curve, especially the second part “Forgetful Left”. We get the “Haan Snake” section followed by the “Maison Summit” that led to the “Behind the Sign” sharp lefthander. Then we have the “Landslide” section led into Marlowe Drive, which ends at “The Roman Curve” into Mount Haan. Following this is the “Pfister Curves” on this mountain pass. The next difficult corner is the “Blue Circle” to Baytree Canyon followed by “Sisyphean”, a hard corner to getting right followed by an even more deceiving corner “Bumpy Root”. Then we enter the Tunnel, which gets to “Dis-mound” corner that begins the “Norton Descent” which starts easily with some hilly braking zones and ends on the notorious “Milton Crescent” that ends on the final corner of the track, the heavy braking zone “DIVORCE”.
