Well… this week is a very busy one, with me taking between Saturday to Tuesday to vote on Ninja Warrior Obstacles. I even felt panicked with how much these things took (Like, 2.5 Hours for 40 out of 109 Cues), because researching for as many Obstacles as I can take a LONG while. Still, those things are behind me now, those Votings are done and therefore the process of Voting the Future Rounds should not take as long. Either way, that’s a major reason why I’m glad that I have a shorter blog to deal with this week, which is also something that took me several days to sort out, because… Hoo boy, Jakarta had a LOT of Toll Exits.
Also, here’s some major disclaimer for you as a warning before we start on the Proper Blog. If you did not see any Track Blog this weekend, then that meant I went all-in on a File Sorting that week. It would happen if my sister lied, and she did NOT come back here after a week ago (Wasting my time in spending this whole week panicking on the idea of having to wait until September to get a File Sorting).
And why did I have to tell you this? Because I do NOT want to wait TWO MORE weeks to do File Sorting (Next week is impossible due to a Neighborhood Event), and this whole thing had been delayed, from the MIDDLE OF JULY! And I need to do this when my fucking Picture Backlog had reach near in the THOUSANDS! So yeah, we’ll see how it goes then, here’s a heads-up in case if there’s no Blog on the Tracks for this week.
Also, please add a Tollbooth on Widodaren man… that would solve my Annoyances from that Trip
So, what is this Blog about? Well… it all started from me being a little too annoyed at the Bus Trip two weeks ago, especially with the part that “The ONLY part, where the goddamn Bus did NOT take the Highway, is THE biggest gap without exits (East Sragen to Ngawi). The dining place provided by the Bus is decent, but… nothing that wows me like Titin in Tongas or even that Jaya Utama meal at Tuban (now moved from Jenu).
Because of that, out of curiosity, I decided to scour through the entirety of the Trans-Java Highway to count how many Toll Exits there are. As well as where in the Districts they are and whether they’re accurate to the Tollbooth they represent. There are… actually a surprising amount of Tollbooth that didn’t represent those things, not those that are accurate but have such an obscure name (Such as Bandar which served Kertosono)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Java_Toll_Road
And do you understand how many of the Jakartan Tollboths are? Well… we have 42 Exits by the time of Cikampek (which is where the original Tolls of Java stops before the entire Trans-Java project started by Cipali), and the halfway mark happened between Brebes and Pemalang. Either way, these are some nice little project for me to discover. However, there are some things to keep in mind.
First, I divided the Highway Sections by Links to make sure you get an idea of a Split. And as for in case of the Border Exits, the choice to pick which side it was on depends on either whether it’s closer to Jakarta, or whether it’s built first. The latter is more prioritized than the former, however.
Also, I counted a Pure Interchange among these too. And for those who didn’t have any exits attached to it (Like Kunciran), next to it (Like Meruya) or even Was (like Colomadu). Their naming convention had the additional “Interchange” suffix to make it clear that it takes you to other Highways and not leaving it.
Then, there’s the Final Section, Probolinggo-Banyuwangi. They are not completed yet (Only as far as Paiton right now, where my sister now live with her husband), so all I could base on so far were the planned Section Splits of its constructions. Of course, these estimations were not going to be accurate by the time the actual tollbooths were built. Like maybe there’s no tollbooth there, maybe the tollbooth is not on the exact District, or even new ones added (Like I wondered why didn’t the Highway goes a little further to the Town of Banyuwangi itself)
Lastly, this entire Blog ONLY covers the Trans-Java Toll Road, so if you’re a JORR, Cisemdawu, Solo-Yogyakarta, or Gempol-Pandaan Fan. Then I have to apologize.
Either way, that’s all I need to say about this project, so enjoy this Listings down below and have fun! Oh, and I sorted things from West to East because the Merak Exit had exists for like… Decades now.
